The August Classic dog show is West Africa’s biggest annual conformation dog show sanctioned by the Kennel Union of Ghana-a Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) Member Country. The August Classic dog show was established in 2023 and is held in the last Saturday of August at the Dzowulu Astroturf annually. The August Classic Dog Show is organized by Dog Show Ghana LBG connecting hundreds of dogs with their owners and handlers under the supervision of FCI judges at the applauds of adorable crowd of pure breed dog enthusiasts. In 2024, the August Classic brought exhibitors from Ghana, Nigeria and Togo to compete for the bragging right of the Best dog in West Africa
